Recruiter. Hiring Manager. Licensed attorney.

I’ve had a variety of experiences in my professional life, but the throughline has always been the legal industry.

As a law student, I interned in a variety of environments: at a small law firm, in house at Ford Models, and in Brooklyn’s Foreclosure Court. After graduating, I managed client relationships with law schools and taught law students how to use Westlaw. I then pivoted into legal recruiting at Major, Lindsey & Africa, placing Associates at law firms and companies. To add a bit of diversity to my experience, I switched to recruiting C-level executives for law firms (positions like the Chief Operating Officer or Chief Marketing Officer). So I’ve seen hiring at every level in the legal world: from a solo practitioner hiring a part-time assistant to an international law firm bringing on an entire group of Partners and Associates. I understand the lifestyle demands, the compensation expectations, and the skills needed in such a demanding, high pressure professional world.

In addition to my hands-on experience in the legal industry, I’m also a bit of a hiring nerd. I’ve read countless books about “hiring theory” and trends like Behavioral Interviews to Personality Tests to Brainteasers.

I’m fascinated by this work because it literally changes lives. After all, a full time job is how a person chooses to spend 8+ hours of their day, 5 days a week (or more).
